Q: Is
your print permanent?
A:Yes, we silk screen print our mugs, and fire them at +-800 degrees celcius. This permanently bonds the print to the glaze of the mug.
Q: Is your print dishwasher and microwave safe?
A:Our prints are dishwasher safe. All of our prints, except metallic gold, are safe to use in a microwave.
Q:Can you print personalised names on the mugs?
A:Yes, we can. This is at an additional charge, so please mention it in your quotation request.
Q:What is the maximum number of colours you can print?
A: We have printed in excess of 16 spot colours. Your quote will be based on the number of individual colours in the design. The best way to get an accurate quotation on multi-colour prints is to send us a visual of the design.
Q:How do your WOW mugs work (colour changing mugs)?
A:We start with a plain white mug. We can use either the standard, slimline or cone shaped mugs.
We then print your required design onto the mug.
After that, we coat the outside of the mug in the special colour changing layer. This coating is only available in black or blue.
When the mug is cold, only the coating colour is visable. When the mug is heated, the coating fades to show the print underneath.
Q:Can I supply my own mugs?
A:Yes, you can, depending on where you get them from. Some suppliers have better quality items than others, and certain types of mugs are not suitable for our method of printing. Feel free to discuss this directly with your sales agent.
